About me

I am an Environmental Scientist and Urban Planner with 13 years of experience in climate change, pollution, and environmental health. I have worked with global research institutions, think tanks, startups, and NGOs, including WWF (Bolivia and Turkey), HEAL (Brussels), RIFS (Potsdam, Germany), and GEM (California, USA).

My journey began with analyzing the impacts of climate change on the Amazon rainforest as the first Turkish recipient of a WWF Bolivia fellowship, paving the way for me to become an early adopter of quantitative health-economic models for environmental pollution. Recently, I launched a YouTube channel (@fundagacal) to make environmental and climate science accessible to businesses and communities by transforming scientific concepts into engaging, relatable stories.

I’m passionate about the environment-human-economy cycle and committed to helping your brand adopt sustainable, just, and equitable production strategiessuch as leveraging local biodiversity or niche products—that go beyond traditional sustainability.
